In another study, appearing in the November 1990 issue of the Journal of Pharmacology, the same sugar was shown to inhibit bronchial anaphylaxis and histamine release in bronchiole fluid in guinea pigs sensitized to rabbit ova. Also, in American Journal of Respiratory Critical Care Medicine in 2000 confirmed a correlation between lung function and inflammation patterns.
